Sitting with Emotions

A short discussion on how to sit with difficult emotions. Often we avoid uncomfortable emotions by distraction, unhealthy coping mechanisms, pushing them away, denying them, etc. But our emotions are deeply tied to our Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and our survival responses. So avoiding them can potentially do us harm. In this video I give you 4 steps to help you sit and process uncomfortable emotions.
